WA - Richard "Brad" Roy Bradbury died on October 5, almost the sixth anniversary of his wife Elizabeth's death. He was an only child who loved family and was proud that 205 people called him "Uncle." He is survived by his two children, Michael and Christopher, his adopted sister Delores, his adopted brother Mike, 37 nieces and nephews, and 16 adopted grandchildren.
After graduating from University of Washington Richard pursued an architecture career where he specialized in designing low-income and multifamily complexes. He went on to become a real estate developer to support his true passion - travel. He made it to all continents except Australia, spent time with overseas relatives, and collected memories and friends along the way.
He never met a stranger or passed a baby or puppy without stopping. He prided himself on never growing up and always made a point to brighten someone's day with a joke or funny story. His generosity, kindness, and sharp wit will be sorely missed but carries on in all those he met, mentored, and influenced as he traveled through life.
