WA - Richard William Cook passed May 6, 2025, surrounded by his beloved wife Kim, and their sons Brody Harris, Michael Yoshida, and Arri Cook.
Richard was a member of the Bahá'í Faith, physicist and musician.
Graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and advanced degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
He is survived by his wife Kim, their three sons, Brody, Michael, and Arri. Nine grandchildren: Daniela Cook, Richard Cook, Lauren Harris, Sophie Harris, Elizabeth Cook, Helen Cook, Nira Yoshida, Micah Yoshida, and Milo Yoshida. Four siblings: Linda Fuller, David Cook, Yves Bridges, Chris Cook
His life was a testament to perseverance, faith, and love. Richard leaves behind a legacy of service, (service as a missionary in Paraguay, SA.) knowledge, (working on the Space Station and other technical projects), music (Maui Ruhi and State of Prayer CDs) and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
