Monday, February 5th 2024, Richard Nelson Simmons passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Rich was survived by his older brother Thomas, son Kevin, daughter Janeen, and kitty Missy.
Rich was born July 12th, 1942 in Outlook, WA and worked on his family farm while raising hell with his family. He moved to Seattle and attended Seattle University, earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked many years for ELDEC before retiring at 55.
Rich enjoyed restoring classic cars, regular trips to Disneyland, cheese burgers and had a strong love for animals. He will be remembered for wish to "Never Grow Up", witty humor and the evil eye.
