Washington - Rita May Aumiller, 85, went to the waiting arms of Jesus on Friday, February 25, 2022. She grew up in Redmond, WA and then lived in Alaska for many years. She then lived in Mount Vernon, WA and spent her final three years in Kirkland, WA, where she lived with her daughter, Sherill. Rita struggled the last few years with Alzheimer's, dementia, and pancreatic cancer in her last days. Rita was loved by everyone she met and always made a lasting impression.
Rita is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, and by her two sons, Mike and Rick. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Sherill Aumiller; granddaughter Amanda; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Shane Eargood; and many friends she has met throughout her life.
On Friday, March 11, a Viewing will be held at Chapel of the Resurrection Funeral Home, in Bothell, WA from 4 to 8 PM. On Saturday, March 12, a Graveside Service will be held at Cedar Lawns Memorial Park, in Redmond, WA at 12 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at Chapel of the Resurrection, at 2 PM.
