Robert Keith Gibb Obituary

Camano, Washington - Robert Keith Gibb, 75, passed away peacefully at home on February 5th, 2021 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Vancouver, WA to Bruce & Mary Gibb on November 1, 1945, Bob grew up in the Maple Leaf area of Seattle & graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1963. He married Nicki Anne Fenton and they recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. After moving to Edmonds in 1975 and raising their daughters, they found their "forever" home on Camano Island in 2005.

Bob worked for Ford Motors in the wholesale parts department for over 40 years. He had a quick sense of humor, a passion for music, and enjoyed restoring his 1940 Ford. From early days sailing with his Catalina 22 sailing club to later days power boating and crabbing, he enjoyed life on the water and his boating friends evolved into lifetime friends. Those who knew Bob knew that he was the most gentle, kind, and patient husband, father, brother, and friend anyone could ask for. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his daughters, Camerin Gibb Lashley (Keith), Leslie Gibb Hughes (Mark), sister Judy Callahan (Ken), nephews Scott Callahan (Jill) and Grant Callahan, and grandchildren Austin Lashley, Avery Lashley, Malia Fitchett, Joshua Hughes, and Kayden Hughes.

He was a fair-minded loving man, who was loved greatly in return. He was a gentleman until the end.
