WA - Robert ("Bob") A. Stone Jr passed away October 8, 2025, at home in Vancouver, WA, surrounded by family. He was 93 years old.

Bob was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He served in the US Air Force and was an elementary school teacher and principal within Seattle Public Schools until his retirement in 1991. Bob and his wife Rosalie resided in Ballard for 37 years before moving to Vancouver in 2008 to be close to family. Rosalie died in 2014. They were married for 57 years.

Bob loved the outdoors and took many camping and fishing trips with Rosalie and their children. He loved his neighbors and spending time with friends, be it fishing for steelhead, playing golf, attending Husky football games (Rosalie loved that too), watching old movies, BYKOTA class at church, Sun Valley jazz festivals, getting together for coffee or sharing a meal. Bob touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his children, David (Judy) and Teresa; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery with a private graveside service for family. Remembrances can be made through the Veterans Legacy Memorial website and on Bob's Facebook page.
