Port Orchard, Washington - Ronnie "Ron" Dwayne Noyes beloved son of Eldora Williams and Wayne Noyes, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at the young age of 76 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor. He fought a brave battle against COVID but the virus was too much for his fragile lungs to overcome.
Ron was born in Jamestown, ND in 1944. He had strong family roots in Jamestown but felt the draw to move out West to Seattle for bigger adventures in 1966 with his wife Sharon Ingstad (Basim). Ron and Sharon had two daughters, Vicky Brown, born in Jamestown and Teresa (Scott) White, born in Seattle. Many friends from Jamestown, followed and remained Ron's lifelong friends.
Ron has a passion for cars and worked in the industry up until his "official" retirement in 2019. "Retirement" was attempted many times before but the business always drew him back in. He started his career at Central Pontiac in Seattle. He continued to work in the car sales industry, and also owned several of his own independent used car lots in Jamestown and in the Pacific Northwest. Through his work he developed many friendships with coworkers where they had softball and bowling leagues, leading to incredible parties and lifelong friendships. Ron love to spend time with his family more than anything else. He wed his beloved second wife Dianne (Noyes) in 1984. This union brought even more joy to his life with tow step-daughters Tiffany (Tyler Loudon) and Courtney (Rusty Willson.) They built their life together through the years in Port Orchard and Gig Harbor, Washington as well as Jamestown, ND> He owned several different waterfront homes and homes with pools although he never dipped a single toe in their waters. He instead took joy in sharing the views and pools with his friends and family.
Ron ALWAYS had a dog by his side. They were his companions and he loved them endlessly (though he was never great at housebreaking any of them). Ron's reward was their unconditional love and that was enough.
Ron's absolute favorite time of the year was Christmas. He adored and anticipated all year long, the annual "Christmas Eve" gathering with his 8 grandchildren, his daughters, their spouses and any other extended family that needed a place to go. His generosity, kindness, giving nature, and warm heart will be forever remembered by all that knew him.
Ron is survived by his sister, Renee Wheeler (David), wife Dianne Noyes, daughters Vicky (Brown), Teresa (White), step-daughters Tiffany (Loudon) and Courtney (Willson), grandchildren Erica White, Alyssa White, Meredith Brown, Parker Loudon, Paige Loudon, Piper Willson, Reese Willson, and Quincy Willson.
Nobody loved a party more than Ron! There will be a tribute and celebration in the Spring of 2021 when we can gather and celebrate as he would have wanted. Until then... "That's a good Bingo!"
