WA - Sally Harter-Pride, full of life and adventure, passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on September 14th, 1942, in Eugene, OR Sally loved to travel and see the world. She leaves a legacy filled with humor, love, and many adventures.
After studying Home Economics at Oregon State University, she and first husband Grant traveled the west coast and eventually settled in Redmond. Together they built a successful paper and packaging company called Paper Express that they enjoyed for 20 years together until Grant's passing in 2004.
She is survived by her children, Emily Harter of Shoreline, WA, son Grant Harter Jr. of Summerville, SC, and his wife Alicia Harter and their two children Charlotte and Caroline Harter. Sally's marriage to Bob Pride brought more love and laughter into her life, along with his children Jon and Kathleen Pride, Heather and Rob Boyd, and Erika and Patrick Jenkins.
Sally's love for cooking, traveling, and hosting friends for get-togethers will be missed terribly by so many and her sense of humor made any situation memorable.
A celebration of life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church on January 2nd at 2:00 pm
1315 N. 160th St., Shoreline, WA.
