WA - Samuel Kristofferson, 94, died January 27, 2026. Born October 4, 1932, in Hobart, he attended the University of Washington and spent more than 45 years at Boeing, including work on rocket boosters for NASA. He began running at 50 and completed 4 marathons. Samuel also enjoyed rebuilding cars, gardening and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his wife Clara, and son Mark. He is survived by his daughters, Heidi and Sonja; grandchildren Chelan, Dexter, Amanda, Audrey and Samantha; and great-grandchildren Emmy and Andrew.
