Sandi, 62, passed away at home in Everett, with her cherished cat Kee Kee by her side. Her gentle optimism, sparkling eyes and quick laugh will never be forgotten.

Sandi was born in Santa Rosa, CA to Darleen and Jerry Belk. As a young girl Sandi and her mother moved to Seattle, and Darleen married Glenn Miller. Jerry and Glenn were both fathers to Sandi, and she deeply loved them both. Sandi quickly became part of a large family. Her summers were filled with time at Sandy Point and numerous trips to California including memorable visits to Disneyland with her father. She attended View Ridge Elementary and the Overlake School in Redmond. Along with her siblings, she learned to ski at Snoqualmie, and took after her older sister Molly, by showing horses. For many years they traveled the west coast competing in horse shows.

In high school her passion for music was ignited. In 1975, she journeyed into the vibrant Seattle music scene, where she discovered her talent for songwriting and performing. She met lifelong friends at Overlake, and together they crafted melodies that resonated with their generation. From local clubs to the recording studios of LA, Sandi poured her heart and soul into her music.

Sandi was known for her compassionate nature, and loving personality. These qualities were carried over into her career as a counselor that spanned years of helping others. Her passion for animals led her to be an avid supporter of animal rescue organizations. In 2000, Sandi embraced motherhood with devotion, dedicating herself to her son Collin Murray and their beloved pets, Vince, Levi, and Kee Kee. Her greatest joy was raising Collin.

Sandi's gentle presence will be sorely missed by her many friends and large blended family. She was predeceased by her mother, Darleen "Sunny'' Miller, her father, Jerry Belk, step-father, Glenn S. Miller, his wife, Mona Belle Miller, brothers Jeffrey Miller and Robert Lyda, and brother-in-law David Jenkins. She is survived by her son, Collin Murray, brothers Tony Miller and Michael Miller (Jennifer), sisters Molly Miller Jenkins (David), Marcia Miller Spees (George), Sara Robertson (Stephen Phillips), Jane Lyda Mounsey (Steven), her aunts Vicki Duggan and Susan Anderson, and many cherished relatives. Sandi will be remembered for her "Live and Let Live'' personality. She was a sweet and loving mother and an animal lover and defender.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 28th, Legion Hall, Legion Memorial Park, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
