WA - A life of family, generosity, and compassion.
Sharon Stewart, beloved sister, auntie, and second mother to many, passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2025, at the age of 80. She leaves behind a life of giving and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Born in Monroe, Washington on December 15, 1944, to George and Leona Brown, Sharon grew up with her four siblings in Seattle and Renton, Washington, sharing love, laughter, and music. She graduated from Renton High School in 1963 while pursuing a career in the retail industry. She later married Charlie Stewart with whom she shared many years.
Sharon's greatest legacy was the love she bestowed upon her family and her many friends, who adored her deeply. She was a devoted caregiver, tending both to her grandmother and then to their mother until their passing. Always there as a second mom to her nephews and chosen daughter, she changed many lives through her love and generosity. She had a remarkable ability to turn strangers into family, always extending a helping hand, combined with words of encouragement to those most in need.
She was devoted to her animal causes, owning and loving many cats and dogs over her lifetime. She also surrounded herself with plants and flowers which provided shelter and food for many creatures which she adored. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Goodbye, Drak! Love you forever, Baby Face
