Steve passed away in peace, surrounded by his loved ones. Steve was an articulate storyteller and wordsmith. A gentle man with a kind and generous spirit.

He is survived by the love of his life, Karin Valenzona; his mother Madeleine; sister Lori; daughter Megan (Jason); grandchildren Jordyn and Jaxsyn; Karin's children: Amber, Brandon (Morgan), Damon (Reilley), Jordan (Amanda), & Aiden (Hannah); and grandchildren: Kai, Brooklynn, Zoe, Kellan, Kanha, Nitya, and Dawson. Steve was preceded in death by his father Richard Wasson and his daughter Heidi Doriguzzi.

Steve earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Washington and remained a proud Husky throughout his life. He had a remarkable 40-year career at PACCAR, leaving a lasting impact before retiring in 2017. Steve loved to travel and explore with Karin, spending time with family, and left life long memories with all who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 17th @ 1:00pm; Normandy Park United Church of Christ, 19247 1st Ave S, Normandy Park, WA.
