Washington - Susan Alford passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022 in Olympia, Wash. She was born Dec. 12, 1941 to Wendell and Velma Roush of Selinsgrove, Penn. A 30-year resident of West Seattle, she was married to the late Robert Alford; was a Manager/Director of Human Resources at Highland Hospital, Pan Am, Group Health, St. Cabrini, Ernst Corp, and Helsell Fetterman; and was a trip leader and climbing instructor for Seattle Mountaineers. She is survived by a daughter, son-in-law, two grandsons, two sisters, and two nieces. A celebration of life is being planned.
