Washington - Susan Nichols Propeck, 74, of Port Ludlow, Washington, passed away on December 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She married Timothy, the love of her life, in 1973. Their marriage was a true partnership built on laughter, devotion, and deep affection. Timothy preceded her in death on December 9, 2021. Susan was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lynsey Eno, on August 30, 2023, and her brother, Robert Nichols, on May 22, 2007.

She is survived by her daughter Kristin Wall and her partner Sean Mashkouri of Seattle, Washington; her son-in-law Jay Eno, Jr. of Westbrook, Connecticut; her adored grandsons Mason, Nico, Jack, and Isaiah; her brother Jim Nichols of Port Townsend, Washington; and her sister Linda Johnson of Port Ludlow, Washington.

Susan was affectionately known as the family counselor — a trusted listener who offered wisdom, comfort, and a safe space for others to be themselves. She was an avid reader, a thoughtful and witty conversationalist, and a creative spirit whose love of home design, books, and laughter reflected her enduring strength and grace in life.

Susan's life was defined by her fierce and unconditional love for her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe, and her devotion to them was steadfast, patient, and full of grace. Those who knew her will remember her radiant smile, her laughter that could fill a room, and the kindness that touched everyone she met. She was both a source of strength and a gentle presence — a confidant, nurturer, and friend whose compassion knew no limits.

Her memory will live on in the countless hearts she touched, the family she cherished, and the love she gave so freely.
