Susanne Condon Morgenroth, 82, of Seattle, WA, died quietly on November 22. She was born to Doris and John Condon in July 1941. Susanne lived a life of service to her community and her children. As a social worker for the Washington State DSHS, she helped immigrating families to settle into their new communities in the Pacific Northwest. She was an avid volunteer throughout her life, organizing communities to support those in need. Later, Susanne started her own business selling antiques and collectibles, a lifelong passion of hers. Through her example, she passed on her sense of civic duty and curiosity about the lives of others. Susanne was known by her friends and acquaintances for her humor and bold wit. Everyone who knew her has a story to tell about how she made them laugh with her unique perspective.
She leaves behind two grateful children, Lisa Morgenroth and Matthew (Martha) Morgenroth; her grandson Ottomar Henry Morgenroth, and her sister, Colleen (Don) Runnells. Predeceased by her husbands Ottomar (d. 1997) and Paul Eklund (d. 1965); her parents and sister Dianne Burrill.
