Teresa Marie Hartman, age 70, passed away suddenly on May 20th, 2024, at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA. Born on January 27th, 1954, in Seattle to Charles and Katherine Maehren (Kain).

Teresa retired from Qwest after 27 years of service. In her retirement, she devoted and enjoyed many years volunteering at the Northshore Senior Center, spending time with her family, and watching her grandchildren grow.

Teresa was known for her balance of stubborn defiance, incredible sense of humor, and infectious laughter. She brought joy and warmth to everyone around her. Teresa was a devoted mother, an incredibly proud Nana, and a kind and thoughtful sister and aunt. Her greatest passion in life was her family; her love for them all was boundless.

She is survived by her children Nick (Ilene), Joel Hartman, and Trisha (Joseph) Milich; grandchildren Katherine and William Milich; brothers David, Peter, and Tim Maehren; and sister Ann Stout. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Katherine Maehren, and brother Richard Maehren.

Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Instead of flowers, the family recommends donations in her honor to the Northshore Senior Center, a community and organization close to Teresa's heart.
