Washington - Ted Walker, 61, was an artist, born and raised in Seattle. His artistic pursuits were twofold, playing music and cooking. A part of the Seattle music scene since 1982, Ted played in such bands as Section 8, Hellraiser, Wildcard and Lost Dogma. He later became a local concert promoter, and for a while, he was known as Chef Walker at the Marriott Hotels. But he never left behind his passion for music. He was frequently asked to pick up his guitar and sit in with various local artists.
In his last year, Ted moved to Port Angeles. Even knowing that his time was limited, he created one last restaurant with his family - The Goat & The Radish, located in Sequim. He also made sure his nieces and nephews would always have music in their lives by giving them each a guitar. And he blessed his family with his culinary skills at countless meals, all the while connecting with friends, family and ex wives, Deanna Mang and Jessica Walker, letting them know how much he loved them.
His most important moments were the final ones he spent with his three children, Megan, Jacob, and Katherine, who along with their mother Jessica, were by his side when he passed, as were his sisters and his step-mother.
