Washington - Timothy David Cantu passed away in the early hours of November 9th, at age 32, after a short but valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Marie, their five children, Elena, Kristina, Isabelle, Adrian, and Charles, his parents, David and Jean Cantu, and his brothers John, Theodore, Br. Kevin Peter O.P., and Matthew.
Tim was born in Bellevue, WA, January 5th 1989. He graduated from Thomas Aquinas College and Notre Dame Law School, brought his family back to his beloved PNW, and practiced law with Jameson Pepple Cantu PLLC. He had deep love for golf, music, reading, and baseball - to the fourth, he was an enthusiastic writer for the Mariners blog Lookout Landing. He had a fervent appreciation for the beauty of God's creation in the natural world, and clung firmly to his beloved Catholic faith all his life - and even more so through his months of illness. He was an utterly devoted husband and father, and the antics of his babies were his greatest source of joy. His many friends and large family will dearly miss his warm smile, ready laugh, and his way of bringing everyone into the conversation no matter the topic.
