Timothy Donald Hurley (Tim) Obituary

WA - Timothy D. Hurley was a legend of a man. Like Bigfoot, only rarer. Born to be wild July 7, 1954, passed away surrounded by family October 2, 2025. Tim loved the great outdoors, music, science, and Tai Chi. He was the kind of man who would wade up to his armpits in mud to fetch a prize-winning salmon on break from driving a tour-bus in the great wild. Tim conquered literal mountains, on the land, and within himself. He had no children, but he had hundreds of kids. Tim spent years working with those on the fringe as a teacher and mentor in Alaska and Seattle. To his family he was a brother, favored uncle, friend, and a beacon of hope, always challenging us to aspire to greater things, and to remind us to never take ourselves too seriously. Still somehow just a little 11-year-old jokester who took the squad master's Jeep for a joyride. Tim has moved on to join his wife and soulmate Jeanne-Marie. There is a wheelie-shaped hole in the fabric of this reality now that he's gone. He will be deeply missed here.
