Marysville, WA - Vincent Buddy Alit was born on July 24, 1944, to Felicisimo and Martha (Dick) Alit at the Marine Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Vince passed away on Oct. 2, 2025, at his home in Marysville, WA at the age of 81. In 1970, he married Judy Friesen. He graduated from California State University of Sacramento. Vince served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he received a Purple Heart. He continued his military service in both the US Army Reserves and WA Army National Guard. Throughout his career he continued a life of service to the community, and worked with at risk youth, corrections, and employment security. He is survived by his wife, children Tami, Michelle, Tara, Selena and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 25 at 11:00 a.m. at The Grove Church in Marysville.
