Wayne David Rice Obituary

WA - Wayne, my husband, my best friend, left this earth to be with Jesus June 3rd, 2023.

He had fought hard to kick that glioblastoma in his brain, but his body gave out on him.

He knew where he was going, though, and he was at peace.

Our son, Günter, and I miss Wayne very much.

Wayne was born in OshKosh, Wisconsin, February 10th, 1969.

Lowell and Sonya Rice adopted him and moved their family to Florida where they made their home.

Wayne's older siblings are April Harber, Robert Rice and Liz Rice.

His younger sibling is Zackery Rice.

Wayne graduated with a Bachelor's in analytical chemistry from Eastern New Mexico University, where he met his first wife.

They moved to Wisconsin where Wayne worked for Abbott Laboratories.

They moved to Washington State, where they were divorced, and Wayne met me, Lisel.

July 4th, 2019, Wayne asked Jesus into his heart.

He asked me to marry him February 12th, 2000, and we were married August 25th, 2000.

Günter was born in 2002, we purchased our home 2005 and Wayne started working for Boeing that same year.

Almost 23 years were Wayne and I together in marriage.

We loved each other and our son, and shared the most important thing, our faith in Jesus Christ.

A celebration of life for Wayne will be held
