William Joseph Thompson (Bill) Obituary

Washington - Bill passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Esty.

He is survived by his 4 children: Barbara Tallman, Steve Thompson (Patricia), Mark Thompson (Kimberly) Linda Thompson and sister Paricia Lutnes.

He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Corey, Ashley, Kyle, Jennifer, Bryce, Emily as well as 10 great grandchildren.

Bill was a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry, June 15, 1957. He later became involved in the school of Gnathology, and was later the president of the Gold Foil Study Club.

He enjoyed skiing, fishing, hiking, camping, boating, backpacking, model planes and photography.

Bill and his beloved "Esty" not only had a true love for each other, but for the outdoors, which included their passion for photography, both having had many photos published.

Their passion for photography helped expand their love for travel doing many trips abroad, but their hearts belong to the great Pacific Northwest and was highlighted by an annual trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

His passion for life and his infectious laugh were always warm and welcoming. Bill was an inspiration to all, he will be truly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life; TBA after the holidays.
